The Solgenix mission is to work as a catalyst for expanded growth of entrepreneurial activity primarily in the renewable energy field from rural areas of emerging markets such as Honduras to developed markets like California.

The last several years have seen a growing transition from purely centralized to decentralized sources of power. The telecommunications market has witnessed a similar change in its transition from landline-based service to decentralized mobile offerings. That said, the global market for solar energy has been growing 30 to 40% annually.

Clearly, solar is establishing exciting new markets around the world. Solgenix is well positioned as an early mover in the field to meet the challenges of these markets by providing opportunities and investment especially in rural areas where sources of clean, renewable energy are most needed.

In addition, Solgenix’s portfolio includes investments in select technology and Internet companies while maintaining a focus on the solar energy sector.
